Zacatecas, Zacatecas

The majestic colonial city

A little more than 600 km. to the north from Mexico City, where once was an important mining center, is located Zacatecas, a city that reflects the entire colony splendor. For many people this is the most majestic city of the Colony, whose destiny was marked by the abundance of silver in its near mountainous area.

Of that time, important constructions in pink quarry had left, large houses with forged iron balconies, many of them in narrow spotted streets and its atmosphere of city of palaces.
